We're taking a one night trip up into the mountains Tuesday.  I have a Holiday Inn affinity credit card that gives us a free night and I'm using it in Sylva, NC.  The town is not special really, it's OK, near some neater things, good for an overnight.

My wife said she'd like to visit Helen, GA, again, which surprises me, but OK, we'll stop on the way.  Probably go up to the top of Brasstown Bald if weather is decent.  Might sample a north Georgia winery, their wines usually are "OK", mostly for tourists.

Like us.

Clayton, GA has really upped its game of late,  the downtown is pretty nice.  I'll ask her if she wants to stop in Highlands, NC on the way back.
