Eh, I know Fearless' true feelings about Texas BBQ.  Pot failed to stir.

I for one like Texas Q a lot, though my trip to Austin got derailed by a local who apparently doesn't have a clue.

I also liike Eastern Carolina and Memphis and KC style Q a lot when it's good.  Sometimes around here the less good places serve pork slathered with red sauce to cover the fact the pork isn't that good, it's maybe OK.

Good Q needs no sauce 'tall.

But I still don't mind putting a little sauce on a piece of white bread with jalapeno and onion and a slice of brisket and making a foldover sandwich.

The best I ever had was dry rub ribs done at my house, not by me.

But my pork spare ribs are a close second.

better than my view from the 3rd floor of the Holiday Inn O'Neil, NE overlooking the gas station that hosts a Taco John's

not worthy of a pic

Not quite much of a trip (about five blocks), but we attended this concert last night, it was quite a something.  They played quite a variety, including a Gershwin piece I'd never heard of and a Sousa opera with a singer that blew us away.  My wife was impressed.

Can't just accept that without some proof.  You hold no titles with me until I'm invited over to sample.

Ok....not a sample.  I'll need the full plate with some extra fixins, and then we'll see where you stand.
