Look at NW Indiana and the Central time zone. NW Indiana revolves around Chicago.

Central is by far the superior time zone.

You getting off?

That initial walk into town is... something. Or did they "clean" it up?

I'd like for my half of Florida to be Central time.

Never understood why Western KS/NE/Dakotas is MTZ. That area is so desolate, they might as well use the state lines.

Geez, it'd be dark at like 5:30 in the winter.  I don't even like the eastern limits of the central time zone for that reason.  I mean, Nashville is cool and all, but that place gets dark way too quickly.  Even in the summer, for my liking.

S'what I think about El Paso.  What's even the point of putting them out of sync with the rest of TX?

It was interesting these were pics from a restaurant on the bay.  We were suppose to go to a beach but rainy and windy

I grew up 12 miles from the time zone border.  It's amazing how confused people get with such a simple calculation.

Kansas left the decision up to the local counties to decide.  A contemporary referred to the decision as continuing on with "dumb time."  Some of them switched to using Central via the election results.  Would be much simpler to just make it the CO border, but, nah...

Weird.  I'd much rather be on the far-west end of a time zone than the far-east end.  I like the sunshine to last as long in the evening as possible.
