I do my best to avoid wine on NCL, we get one "free" bottle at Le Bistro, which has always been ... mediocre. My wife likes the buffet because it's more varied and their Asian selections are usually decent IMHO. I talk her into the main dining rooms a few times on a cruise and they are OK IMHO. If any of these were regular restaurants around here we wouldn't dine there ever other than maybe the cafe on occasion. We dined at their Moderna which is a rather lame execution of a Brazilian steak house. The lamb there is pretty good. Maybe we were on the late side this time but the offerings were slim and slow coming, and they push their pork and chicken a lot. The Fogo near us is much better, but of course pricier.
They were offering as a 'special' a glass of Chateauneuf for $25 and I bit on that, it wasn't very good. Then there is the service change making it $30. I'll pay that for a good glass of wine somewhere if it's actually good.
Anyway, it wasn't my favorite cruise, but it was OK. We might go back to San Juan sometime soonish.
Our next trip is two weeks in Vienna. I have to start planning soon, but I have taxes to finish also, which is a pain.
