Seoul is a fascinating place. There seems to be an understanding that if everyone is going to survive, everyone has to play by the rules. When your city is so dense that it makes midtown Manhattan look like Green Acres, that's how it has to be.
For whatever reason, Koreans have developed a fondness for baked goods. Often, the best and cheapest are in the subway stations.
Speaking of the subway, it's quite the system (and badly needed), but it needed a military dictatorship to build most of it.
My wife and I Were there in August, so it was blast-furnace hot when we were there. Hope the weather is nicer now.
