Transfer Portal Dudes

ASU QB Sam Leavitt is in the portal.  That's pretty big.

Also, 37 year old QB Max Johnson, who I know from LSU, is in the portal from UNC. Brad Johnson's lefty kid.  I think he's passed Syracuse LB Conley and Miami K Huerta as longest college career in my brain.

Seems like Andre Debose goes on that list.  Felt like he was at UF for an entire decade.

Maybe we should try to snag Leavitt.  Worked out pretty well for us the last time we got a QB from ASU.  

Well, the QB worked out.  The defense just worked out of the program's bowels and shat itself into a toilet.

You can correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m not sure that the Johnson kid actually has another year?

One of the weird parts of the portal as you can put your name in while you are still chasing a Hail Mary waiver. You might get it because of that knee injury, but I don’t think he has an exceptional case.

I know the basketball portal last year was super bloated with kids who were hoping that some random lawsuit could get them a magical fifth year.

Michigan State Spartans quarterback Aidan Chiles plans to enter the Transfer Portal, On3’s Pete Nakos has learned. This will be his second time transferring as he makes this move with one year of eligibility left.

Coming out of high school, Chiles was a four-star recruit in the Class of 2023. There, he was the 160th-ranked player overall and the 12th-ranked quarterback overall. Chiles is a native of Downey, California.
