Seat geek at times publishes data on cfp ticket prices and the highest prices for tickets is during the 24hrs following the schedule being set.    I would argue the CCG price trends are the same.  Based on my 12 years of shopping this game.   Iowa v Michigan St was always the toughest ticket relative to others .  I was out of it last year so didn't pay close attention to Michigan v Iowa .  I suspect it was on the higher end.

Similarly. The CFP final last year, once halftime of the Orange Bowl hit, prices fell off a cliff, once it was obvious both Cincy and Michigan would not be in Indy for the finals.   Will be interesting to see how cfp finals tickets price given USCs possible appearance.

Here you have newbie Purdue in game, everyone comes out of the woodwork to check it out.
