Two straight weeks of work, 14 straight days of alarm going off at 530am, anyway you say it I need a drink. Pouring myself a Screwdriver and settling down for UCLA-Stanford. Flipping between NFL and Baseball too. I deserve it.

Amen brutha.  I'm on conference calls with Asia, and watching some Bears and Trees, and drinking single malt Scotch right now.

It got below 60 degrees at one point today so it's winter/Scotch weather. :)

UCLA really beating the hell out of Stanford tonight.  The blocked punt pretty much all Stanford did, until this garbage time drive.

I stumbled across a sports bar in Asheville, NC that was not bad, called Juicy Lucy's, don't know if it's a chain.  Specialized in burgers, they were "OK", and they had about 15 beers on tap (about 5 were Miller Lite types).

We were there for lunch.  The wife ordered her burger RARE and it came much more cooked than mine which was MED RARE, so they did it again, and it was still more done than mine.  She ate it anyway, and later the manager came up and asked about it all and she pointed to her burger.  He took half off, which is fair enough.

They had fried green beans as a side that were pretty solid.

We had dinner at a place there that had really good reviews and sounded great and it was entirely mediocre.  And not cheap.  Asheville supposedly is a happening place for foodies etc.  I'm still looking.  We did find a pretty nice wine bar at least.

The wife was unimpressed with the large house they have there for tours, but she liked the gardens.

Word out of Evanston is that they haven't cut the grass for about a month. It's about knee-high, and heavily watered.

Harbaugh among 5 B1G coaches on the Dodd trophy watch list.  He's got my vote so far.

Would it kill the big ten to show some pregame stuff on the field? Do we really need talking heads up to kickoff on a Friday night?
