I truly do not understand the strategy behind the wildcat if the RB isn't a threat to throw.  They aren't even sending anyone out to cover Thorne, so you don't even have numbers
A - extra blocker
B - if no extra blocker bc no one is covering the QB - THROW TO THE QB

Big yikes from Purdue fans booing officials, is basketball bleeding over?

Hence the "if the RB isn't going to throw" portion of my original post.  They don't send anyone to follow the QB, and he still doesn't ever throw it

That was a pretty weak unsportsmanlike flag. Not wrong, mind you, but weak.

Yeah, I'm agreeing with you.  They're being dumb.

Speaking of dumb things MSU keeps doing, all of this pre snap motion on punts.  It was the correct call on the motion penalty, cost us 50 yards, and is the 4th or 5th time we've been called for it this year.

Penn State up 7-6 on Maryland, 4th QTR just starting. Did not think this one would be that close.

Tucker is a heckuva coach. He instill that never give up, never die mentality. Michigan State just does not go away. He gets those guys fighting for 60 minutes. That is a hallmark of a great coach imo.

If I'm LSU I line up the brinks truck.

Yeah, that roughness call looked a little weak too. Defender was locked up, whistle hadn't been blown, he was in a position where he couldn't likely see how close he was to the sideline.

They're calling this one tight as hell.

That didn't look weak.  That was the correct call
