MSU has to have the most weirdly fickle fan base.  It's not the largest, but when they feel like it, they show up, and then easily stop caring.  It honestly sounds like there are more MSU fans there than Purdue fans, just like at Northwestern and Miami (low bar).  And I remember when Dantonio first got there, it was similar.  IIRC they set the Champs Sports Bowl attendance record in his first year (even playing against Boston College's non existent fan base) simply based off how many MSU fans travelled.  Yet like one year removed from the CFP, home MSU games were empty except against like UM or OSU.  They are either 110% or 10%, no in between

Amazing that two touchdowns have been scored since I posted that
WF- UNC have officially "Nickeled."  Is that what I called it?  I forget.

Wisconsin has been trying to give away the West Division all year, but nobody else wants it. So they will win it by default, I suppose.

MSU gives you everything between the 20s, like an NFL defense, Purdue actually makes them pay in the red zone, which teams have largely NOT been able to do
And again.  Maybe switch things up?  The whole clamp down in the red zone ain't working today.

Fairly surprising considering every time Purdue runs the ball it's like just taking a knee.

So down starting WR, starting LT, and a surprise absence from our kicker.

Maybe a 42 yard FG isn't the time to use the true freshman walk on?

Nothing says commitment to your Alma Mater like sweating your butt off at halftime in mostly empty aluminum bleachers watching your 0-8 home team go toe to toe in a 0-0 game with a Cal team missing about a dozen players thanks to COVID protocols.

Stupid to even punt it.

They said the Purdue defense is playing well?  They played well on one drive.  Otherwise MSU has marched right down the field, and lost a fumble, and then got backed up on a phantom chop block call and the walk on backup kicker missed a FG.
