Weather's too nice for chili here, too.  Sunny, high of 69.

Doesn't matter, we've got kids' soccer games all day long anyway.  Won't watch much college football today.

Wake is a dog at UNC which is "unusual" for the #9 team.
Perhaps the oddsmakers know more than the committee

Dog slept in, and then I took him for a 3 mile walk. He's spent.

Running the smoker today for ribs. Will be smoking 2 batches of tomatoes to freeze for later use in smoked tomato bisque first.

2 of 3 kids are going with my wife to her dad & stepmom's house to do crafts, leaving me to tend to the smoker and watch the Purdue game.

Good work.  My i s c & a aggie wife is under the impression that my smoker requires a whole lot of tending.  And she loves BBQ, so I get zero honey-dos on days when I'm slaving over that hot pit "all day."

I'll never let her know that basically all I have to do is throw one new split on, about once per hour, and the rest sorts itself out. :)

I have pondered a ranking of teams based solely on the "odds",  There would be some issues with syllogism, but I bet it would be more accurate.

saw this on facebook so, gotta be true

Whoever pulled the fire alarm at OSU's team hotel at 3:00 a.m. that wasn't cool, by the way that's a nice layout for a hotel, I really enjoyed the pool.

In Tucson today. Campus going all out last night for homecoming. There was a parade, a pep rally, fireworks and a bonfire. Early noon kickoff today. 0-8 Arizona will face a Cal team down “multiple Cal football players on COVID List, Will miss Saturday’s game.” Weather gorgeous - high-70s & sunny.
