BIG CCG will have lots of empties.   Absurd supply for sale.  I just paid about 40% of face value for a quality seat.

Iowa State football is in an exclusive club with Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan, and Arizona State.
Like Iowa State, none of them have ever won the Big Six, Big Seven, Big Eight, or Big Twelve Conference football title. For 20-years, the former Big Eight was also the Big Six, and then the Big Seven, and Iowa State couldn't win or tie for that title, either.

Iowa State is almost as bad as the Chicago Cubs which went 116 years between championships. Iowa State won the Missouri Valley Conference championship 112 years ago.

normally the case.   I think this also tells the story of the increasing irrelevance of the CCG as an event.     My wife's Maid of Honor is a Duck and lives out West, (and a former attendee of a CFB Board meeting in Nashville) but is all about spending the football budget on a playoff game, no matter the free lodging here at our place.

Melvin Gordon got 37 first-place Heisman votes vs a Big Ten schedule with a better season than Jeanty had this year.  37 out of 890.

Let's just keep that in mind when the Heisman vote comes out.
