Melvin Gordon got 37 first-place Heisman votes vs a Big Ten schedule with a better season than Jeanty had this year.  37 out of 890.

Let's just keep that in mind when the Heisman vote comes out.
The competition for Heisman is different every season. Some seasons have way more deserving dudes than other seasons. This season Jeanty is likely the most deserving choice, although I definitely don't have a problem with Hunter winning it this year either.

If Marcus Mariotta doesn't exist then Melvin wins in a landslide. It's like you ignored the fact the level of competition is different year to year.

Who do you think deserves it over Jeanty this season?

You're making knee-jerk reactions of who won.  I'm noting the % of first-place votes.  Maybe Jeanty gets 300 or 500 or more.
But to have the year he's had CONSIDERING HIS COMPETITION.....I'd just find it interesting to see the results.

The Heisman voters make the pollsters look like John Nash.

Needed Boise to lose so they fall behind the Big XII CCG winner. Probably not happening now unless we see a repeat of the 2014 B1G CCG.
Good to see you posting again hope things are right on track

BIG CCG will have lots of empties.  Absurd supply for sale.  I just paid about 40% of face value for a quality seat.
I think in this new age where teams need to have their home stadiums ready for playoff games and where conferences are now coast to coast giants,  it makes more sense to just have #1 team host the #2 team in their home stadium for the CCG.

Oregon should be hosting PSU for the Big Ten CCG.

We love a low-context factoid.

People actually remember past Heisman races?

Fascinating.

I like the silly, maybe dumb, double meaning of “his competition” in that post
