Another flawless CFB weekend
Agreed! Any CFB weekend we can get is flawless. Don’t get enough of them unfortunately.

USC will score 40+, win or lose.
Prophetic. Lol.

MAN is Caleb Williams good, but USC ain’t a real competitor for the playoff with that defense…

If USC makes the playoffs, they could be a dangerous 3 seed and might win round one.

I was just thinking about last night's flogging, and how the Minnesota program fits within the greater landscape of college football. I realize that the Wolverines are thinking national championship or bust, but I don't think the Gopher program has been so utterly outclassed since I've been paying attention. I've witnessed the Gophers get eviscerated more than once, but this was different.

There was ZERO excitement on campus or in the New Brickhouse last night. NONE. It was as if everyone was going in to watch a public execution. I wasn't even angry leaving last night. Maybe it's the wisdom of age, but I really don't know where to go from here.

College football has stratified to where only a small handful of programs have the NIL payroll to compete for titles. Minnesota isn't one of them, nor is it even on the radar. Any NIL money of consequence in this market is going to be the 3rd sub-under-assistant East Western sponsor of the Vikings. Even at SC, you see Caleb Williams staying in because he's taking a pay cut to go to the NFL. That's a problem for the NFL that no one seems to be talking about, but that's a different discussion.

I've never seen a coach not take a knee at the end of a game when it's clearly in hand.  I can recall way in the past a fumble when taking a knee, but it's very rare.

There is no reason whatsoever to run the ball when the game is over.

Or Wisconsin calling a handoff for Dayne vs Northwestern.   Dayne was not expecting the ball.  Northwestern recovered and pulled out a score and won.

One of the worst live experiences I've ever witnessed.

I just saw GaTech is 2-1 in conference (3-3 overall).  It's kinda funny.

Who deserves the Golden Douche Nozzle/Dip Shit Award for CFB Coaches in the '23 Season - Mario Cristobal or Mel Tucker? Perhaps there are some other rare gems out there just waiting to present themselves :-[

I know that wasn't the result you wanted but you got to see a heck of a game!
Thanks.  It was something, that's for sure.

Losing always sucks, but Texas played a pretty horrible game with multiple self-inflicted head wounds, and OU played about as perfectly as they could.  I really like our chances in a rematch, should we get there.  And looking at the rest of the B12 this season,  I think it's pretty likely to be a TX-OU rematch.
