This is weird:

Iowa is 130 of 131 in YPG.
Iowa has scored more points per game than: Minnesota, Michigan State, Indiana, Illinois, and Nebraska.

Not so weird when one of those teams is 126/131 in turnover margin.

Another is 127th and another is 114th.

Kirk Ferentz has openly stated this.  He considers total offensive yards one of the most over-rated stats in football.

Remember yards don't matter.  The only thing that matters is do you end the game with more points than the other team.  That is unless your AD puts a clause in your OC's contract that you need to score at least 25 points per game.

well, the AD is addressing points and not yards
