Who woulda thought the one to become a career criminal wasn't Randy Moss
Are country bumpkins more apt to commit crimes?

He had already cost himself 2 scholarships at ND and Florida St for beating up a kid in high school and then failing a drug test at FSU.

Yeah I have no idea whether or not country bumpkins are more apt to commit crimes, but people who've already served jail time for committing crimes probably are.

Anyway, he didn't become a major recidivist and that's a good thing, kudos to him for getting it together.

a player with his talents having to settle for what was a D2 school at the time in Marshall after getting kicked out of Notre Dame & Florida State must've been a real wake up call.

getting drafted by the Vikings certainly helped as well. Cris Carter had screwed up his life and career and was a former addict and he really turned his life around and he took Randy under his wing and really taught him how to be a pro.

That rookie Randy Moss was the most dangerous WR I think the NFL has ever seen. A 6'4" WR with that kind of speed, body control, and those insane hands was unheard of. Most talented, most unbelievable WR I have ever seen to this day, all due respect to Megatron, TO, Larry Fitz, Julio, and a few other dudes.

I'm just saying if you had to bet on who would end up in prison, at the time Moss would have been the big favorite
