Anyone cooking today? I think we may order out or do a Lou Malnati's pizza. Not sure.
Tri tip, Bobby Flay beans, and garlic bread.

We were supposed to have my wife's mom & stepdad over tomorrow as they're in town from TX, as well as her sisters and their kids. Wife's got a cold, oldest is still hacking from his cold which probably isn't contagious, and middle child is snotty and nasty. So that's not happening. But I'm smoking some pork butt tomorrow since it was already being defrosted.

2 minute time out? I didn't even know that was a thing now.
Wait until you see the first NFL kickoff...

State defense answering in shitty fashion.
Don't form any opinions until each offense's scripted plays are used up.

Nice.  I will start with the shellfish tower.  Then I will have the iceberg Wedge BLT, followed by the Bone in Ribeye.

I will finish with the Belgian Chocolate Cake

ooof, actually, I am.  We're paying for my inlaws and they know how to order the good stuff.

Luckily my wife's brother and his family will be there and we're splitting the bill.  Probably still get close to $500 for my share.

A few years ago, some friends and I did a seafood feast made at home and it was great.  Haven't done it since.  $$$

Seafood has gotten even more expensive. Crab legs at Costco are double what they were a few years ago. Most shellfish is about that. It's crazy.

Fin fish are more, but not crazy more like crab.

That’s a great way to do it.  Expensive for sure, but way less than trying to do it in a restaurant.
