Next week is going to be very painful and ugly.
Alabama did lose one of their better LB's to a targeting call in the second half of that South Fl. game last night, so Wisconsin at least has that going for them.

Been here for 11 years.  As long as it is below 110 it is generally bearable.  I will say that when I officiated Friday night, my uniform was probably the wettest it had ever been.  Usually I wait to wash the uniform until Saturday, but I got home and immediately put it in the washing machine.  Probably the worse Friday night as far as combo of heat and humidity since moving here.  I had great hope earlier in the week, played golf, barely over 90 and a nice breeze, was a great day.
And yes, I will take 110 at 10% humidity over 85 with 85% humidity any day of the week.  I was in Ohio in July and was quite miserable with the humidity.
My buddy wife and kids moved to Phoenix and he calls BS. 65 right now sunny and cool. Ya muggy much of the summer but friends FIL has to stay inside in AZ or breathing difficulties ensue

Why did UDub lock horns with Eastern Michigan? Just because you are in the Big Ten, it doesn't mean that you have to start scheduling MAC teams. It's nonsensical.

We're in the "feels like" 110 zone yesterday and today.

We still sit outside, but not in the sun. The pool comes in handy, of course.

Some relief will come tomorrow or Tuesday.
FL always gets back down to 75-80 at night, no matter how hot it gets during the day.  That's another big difference....it can be 100 degrees in AZ at midnight.  It's dumbfounding.

The weather here has "turned", not that it can't still be hot in the PM.  My wife is getting her sweaters ready.

Washington’s old coach used to coach at EMU under the current head coach there. So I’m guessing that was the link.

Kentucky went more than two quarters without completing a pass Saturday. For the game, the number of Wildcat completions (6) nearly was topped by the number of sacks allowed on Kentucky QBs (5). Against a South Carolina team that barely eeked out a one-score win over Old Dominion in Week 1, Kentucky got absolutely steamrolled.

The offensive line was horrifying, allowing 11 tackles for loss. At one point, QB Brock Vandagriff was so steamrolled that UK ran the ball on 17 consecutive plays. Not that it helped much. Kentucky finished the game with almost as many penalties (11) as first downs (13).

UK has had some "tough" football teams of late under Stoops.  They would battle in the lines pretty well.  But that loss to USCe did not illustrate that point, and they face another probably better opponent this Saturday.
