Jeep people are a little out there. Talk about brand loyalty!

My middle brother has one and he's weird about it. It's ALWAYS broken.

Yeah Jeep brand loyalty is quite strong.  And although we've had no problems with ours, they certainly have a repuation for unreliability.

But we don't have ours for any reasons of brand loyalty.  We have ours because my i s c & a aggie wife thinks it's cool, has always wanted one, and loves to drive it.

Exactly. I'd always wanted one. In 2012, I bought one. A couple years later, life changed and I needed a different daily driver. But the Jeep was paid off, so I kept it and now it's a fun toy.

Do I expect perfect reliability? No. But because it's just a toy, it only has 75K miles, not a ton for a 17 year old vehicle. And if something does go wrong, it's not my daily driver so I can deal with it at my convenience, not as an emergency. Even if that means wrenching on it myself.

My brother is on his 4th or 5th I think. I've lost track of how many lemons he's had.

If you donate blood is someone else running around with your DNA? A headache? Your fondness for floundering pro sports franchises? Visiting bat shit crazy places like Area 51? Asking for a friend

This 36y/o middle school teacher has been arrested and charged with 6 counts of sexual assault of a minor, in her car.

Why?

Did she not think she could do just fine with adult males?

When someone donates blood, the recipients receive component parts of it, i.e., plasma, platelets, and red blood cells.  Red blood cells don't have a nucleus, so they don't contain DNA.  White blood cells are mostly filtered out in modern processes.  Don't ask me what that means for older processes or what was going on with transfusions in eras gone by....I don't know.  White blood cells contain DNA, but not for long when they make it through in a transfusion.  The recipient's immune system is going to target them and remove them.

Can't put myself in the head of 36 y/o female.  But I can sure remember being a 15 yo young man that would have thought I was the luckiest dude on the planet.

Stupid Question:  Are double standards in this realm morally wrong?  The law treats 36 yo male sickos the same as females, but is it truly the same thing if the genders were reversed?

As a girl dad, I'd be hard pressed not to kick the crap out of a man, but...

Way back in the day my buddy at 15 got caught in various stages of undress with "the girl next door" in a neighboring woods. Any way mom was reading him the riot act and when dad got home he was going to get more of it. So when dad arrives and goes up to his room and loudly starts lecturing him on his slippery lack of scruples for a good while to satisfy mom. When mom left to go to the store pops stuck his hand out and congratulated him

I suppose it's possible, but what if the moons, planets, and suns, identify as non-binary?
