The high school football seasons is officially over for me. Westerville North did not make the playoffs, so no need to see them get crushed. Instead, I watched scary movies - the new Friday the 13th show has been good through two episodes - and enjoyed the very pleasant evening.

Marching band is not over. The middle one has a competition in Cincinnati and I have to drop her off at the school here in a bit. But luckily the wife will pick her up this evening and I can enjoy some football.

Schedule

  • Noon, #25 Wisconsin at Iowa, FOX
  • Noon, Illinois at Maryland, FS1
  • 12:30, Michigan at Rutgers, BTN
  • 3:30, Minnesota at #4 Indiana, CBS
  • 3:30, #20 Northwestern at Oregon, Peacock
  • 4:15, Purdue at PSU, BTN
  • 4:15, Nevada at #7 UCLA, BTN
  • 7:30, #2 OSU at USC, NBC
  • 8, Washington at Nebraska, BTN
Others
  • Noon, #22 Arizona at #13 Texas Tech, ESPN
  • 3:30, #17 Florida at #3 Georgia, ABC
  • 3:45, #6 Utah at Cincinnati, ESPN
  • 7:30, #1 Miami at North Carolina, ABC

not many more Saturdays will be warm enough for a round of golf.
Since the Huskers play the late game, I'm teeing off at 1pm.
should be about 65 degrees, cloudy with a 12 mph breeze
no need to watch the Badgers and Hawkeyes trade punts

I'll be home in time to grill some brats, catch up on the day in football, and get ready for kickoff

Mornin' Sam & everyone, coffee is good. From what I've read and videos watched regarding tOSU QBs, Fahey appears to have some chops moves well, rolls out and has a more than adequate, accurate arm.

And he played in Cali's D-I conference against their premier teams, color me intriqued. St.Clair has a cannon but played in D-III. So mix & match if we must but things would really have to go south for him to change QBs who ever he pix IMHO.

Loving these two contests

More of a combination. Need the liquor when watching a freshman quarterback.

We had trick or treat Thursday. Any kids knocking on my door this evening get a swat to the head.

Thanx for the heads up that's Cindy's job today.

Like Fall Weddings, Halloween should be outlawed on CFB Saturdays. What the hell is wrong with these people have they no scrupples???

I usually do but, I'll be too busy.
porch light will be off, shades drawn
little buggers can bother the neighbors
hopefully, the Hawkeye neighbors are in good spirits after a victory and handing out the good stuff

I want to watch the NW game but peacock is annoying. Too hard to switch to other games.
