Is that like a recipe or just a nod to the pigs living in Iowa?
I thought it was during the first warm days of spring when the ladies of Iowa start wearing shorts and tank tops again...they're so pale, and THAT'S why pork is the "other white meat."

Well glad to know that in Iowa an inch or more is jumbo sized. I should move there.

I will be at this evening’s UNLV Vs Memphis matchup at the Raiders stadium. Just landed in Las Vegas, and headed over to the Flamingo for pregaming.

Picture on landing that I took of UNLV’s old stadium, former host of the Las Vegas Bowl. Attended one game there a decade ago, and it already felt more like County Fair bleachers for the state rodeo, which I think it is now:

I was in town for business once and caught UNLV vs TCU. My thought upon leaving that game was that no Power 5 conference (it was six back then) should ever lose to a team with these kind of resources. But they do. Wisconsin included.

We've got multiple crappy games on, a glass of wine, the dogs happily chewing on their bones, the kids fed and even cleaned up the kitchen. In the sun room, and cicadas are giving good background noise for Thom Brenneman calling the FSU game.
