This one is tough.  Exile on Main Street is very good, but it's probably not one of my three favorite Stones Albums.  Let it Bleed is probably my personal favorite.  I'll still give it the slight edge here though.

I'm mostly OK with the Stones (though was disappointed when I first saw them live in the mid 90s), but I don't really get the love affair some have with this (double) album.     I know my Mom used to play this record, and I never did care for it relative to other albums.   It was also one of those albums that people sniffed at, at the time, but then later called it genius.

I'll admit to liking albums that have had similar trajectories (some of them I suspect will show up in this tourney).

Meanwhile, that's some peak Joni Mitchell.   I'm guessing these two records came out around the same time.

I dislike the Rolling Stones even more than I dislike the Doors.  Gimme Joni Mitchell all the way.
