I've never found a restaurant in Vegas I thought was both really good and really cheap, or even really good and moderately priced.  Maybe back in the day ... now it just caters to tourists and high rollers.  It's kind of the Gatlinburg of the west, complete with White Castle.

Of course, I couldn't find a really good restaurant in New Orleans either in three days.

I can usually find a place that is anywhere from "quite good" to "really good" to outstanding.

All the regional chains gather together in one glorious market. It's the only city in the country where you could Frankenstein together a meal consisting of components from White Castle, Whataburger and In N Out. Toss a few more chains into that unholy conglomeration, and you could really raise those methane levels on the flight home.

I'll probably fix EGGS over light on toast for my wife when she wakes up.  If it warms up enough, we might go to the Persian restaurant that has an excellent brunch.  Their lamb chops in particular are terrific.  And their outside seating is above street level on a side street so it's quiet.  My wife likes eggs a lot, for breakfast.  She lobbies for that often.
You're never moving on from this, are you?

They recently opened the only White Castle in the west, in order to keep the Ohio crowd out of all of the other establishments.
There's like 3 in Phoenix.

I would pass on just about any other option in favor of In and Out.  Last time I was in Dallas I went there twice in four days

Don't do it. They may present themselves as some sort of a miniature burger joint, but deep down they are little more than a puppet of the lobby.

Sadly I usually just get a Jet's pizza when I am in Vegas because it's delicious, and we don't have one here.

I did manage to scrounge up a local Donatos hook up though.
Jets is good and I think the girls are wanting that today

Found out Pittsburgh had one in the south hills, so we had it when we had a baseball tournament down there over the summer.  They messed up the order, and had to remake it, so they gave me two coupons for free pizza.  It's like a 50 minute drive, and obviously no delivery to us, but it's good enough, I've half considered cashing those in, and figure free pizza is a wash with the time and gas to get there

Porterhouse, grilled asparagus and baked potatoes today.  Blueberry pie for the finish.

Wow, a couple of Ohioans singing praises for Michigan pizza.  Who'd a thunk it?

I agree though, Jets is tasty.

I had In and Out twice in CA, my step son likes them.  I somehow didn't quite get it.  I've never heard of Jets pizza.  Donatos we had in Cincy, I thought it was good for chain pizza.  White Castle is, well, what it is, we have Krystal down here modeled on the same concept.

I still like Whoppers.

And Mexican spaghetti sauce.  And eggs.  Breakfast, lunch, dinner, any time at all.  Even as a snack.

Any Vegas people? We are going out next weekend, haven't been since we got married many years ago. My discretionary income is much higher now, want to try some good places to eat, maybe some shows. Any can't miss things?
Try the stromboli at Four Kegs Sports Pub
best thing about the place is it's a neighborhood dive way off the strip

276 N Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89107
a Triple D place from way back in 2011 or 12

food is average at best
