I have loved the Iron Bowl since Punt Bama Punt.in the early 70's.  This game is very often very good.  War Eagle!

2 scheme weaknesses 
3 LB hesitate to fill holes.

Day, Stroud, nor the offense was the problem. Stroud threw for like 400 yards and zero INT's. Didn't turn it over once- even though he had a couple of really bad snaps from the center which his heads up play prevented them from becoming disasters.

OSU D literally could not stop Michigan from running the ball down their throats. HOW do you win a game when the other team can just run right at you all game long for 300+ yards, chew clock, and barely ever have to pass? That's a losing formula every single time. 

OSU D needs to get a lot better. I find it astounding fans are calling for the head coach who is 29-1 in the big ten play or QB's head who threw for 400 yards and never turned it over once.

I'm not sayingFire Day FCS sam suggested that maybe he overlooked things,maybe they believed their headlines,maybe beating MSU the way they did came at the wrong time.Michigan isn't that much better.They beat Rutgers by 7 PSU by 4 lost to MSU.I saw too many dumb mistakes today to be making this late in the season.The back 7 haven't been the same for a while.They can shit can Coombs,great DB coach but this defense was not that sharp for two yrs.They ranked inlike the 120s in pass defense last year

Oof. What a miserable first half. 

Nubbz, if I was watching this at home, I'd be the one needing Dean Martin's liquor cabinet. Lots of cursing and swearing. No one has been able to get control of this game so far. 10-6 at the half.
