Apparently Penn State can play with 12 men on the field, because the refs cannot see them in the snow

I think it's now apparent that Brantley and Groce  or the difference between this secondary being barely serviceable, and an absolute disaster. Ohio State discovering that a week too late
There was no emotion, beating MSU the way they did last week probably came at the wrong time

I think the Bucks dump Coombs and Washington.

As for the bowl game, please draw ND, Bama, or Oregon.  Playing Wake or Houston would be such a snoozer.

To tell the truth I think this is a head coach issue. I didn't think the defense was poorly coached. But the defensive line was a nonfactor. You need to recruit dudes and then the dudes need to develop into monsters. The defensive line was supposed to be the strength of the team, and they got pushed all over the field. You can't scheme out of that.

Ohio State's defensive tackles were blown up nearly every play as the game moved along. Zero push from the interior of the Buckeyes DL. Looked more like Michigan's Guards pushing around a stand-ins for a pre-game walkthrough.

When Michigan's #68, #65, & #71 are met with almost zero resistance by their DL assignments on a run up the middle you're going to get run over all afternoon - see below clip. It's a very visible, surprising decline for Ohio State's front seven.

Can't speak on Coombs because he was never at Michigan, but Washington is an awful coach- but hell of a recruiter.

Yeah I don't know how anyone could be mad at Stroud. The run game was bad, though it felt like that was more a coaching issue - they didn't seem to have much variety there and Michigan was teeing off. Defense was rough. Defense that just got run over in the first couple games was back.
Stroud is an absolute STUD. So are those WR's. IF OSU didn't have Stroud making good decisions and accurate throws and those WR's making unreal catches- OSU would've been run out the building by 40.

Stroud and those WR's kept them in the game.

Well in their defense they were letting them score on that play. But still, they were bad.

Wiscy defense can be better than they showed last time and is better than OSU's. Biggest problem was Wiscy didn't have a functional passing game. If they can improve there could be quite the game.

Michigan beat them by 21 in their own house and will have to play them again. Kinda sucks. Rooting for Minnesota.

Mertz looks like hot garbage on that series. So did the refs.

There has been 18 minutes of game play and 2 series.

The crowd here at the New Brickhouse is seething mad. Also, wearing red in the Minnesota student section should be grounds for summary expulsion.
