That would've been a helluva prop bet a year ago.

Probably the least college vball I've been able to watch in several years for me this year despite going to watch a couple matches in person.  Louisville is quite good as is Pitt.  I did manage to see those two matches Hard to imagine the ACC two top 4 seeds,  more than the Pac and Big Ten combined.  Hope we get to see the sequined red jacket again by Busboom.

I'll wager UT, though not without some possible obstacles before the FF.    Hilarious to see a possible Nebraska v Wash match-up in the regional for the zillionth time. Kentucky has other plans I assume.    Last time Nebraska was bounced before elite 8 was ten years ago when they lost in the second round to Kstate.  First time they missed sweet sixteen in decades.    Could see that match-up this weekend.
My daughters club team offering us chance to buy tix to final in Cbus.  I find that odd they have that kind of pull.  Won't make it unfortunately.

Chalk tonight in the small handful of 1st round games.  Texas, Baylor, Purdue, Florida the only 4 of the 16 seeded teams to play all won w/o fuss.  The 5th, #14 Creighton won in 3 over Ole Miss, but their outstanding OH Jaela Zimmerman went down with a very bad leg injury.  I didn't see footage, but some really bad comps. were being offered as parallels.    

Creighton gets Kansas, winner over Oregon, in round 2,  Purdue v Dayton, which dispatched Marquette in 4.
Texas v Rice could be interesting (I doubt it).

Everybody else plays Friday.
tOSU v Howard
UW v Colgate
Minnesota v South Dakota
Nebraska v Campbell
Michigan v Ball St
Illinois v WVA
Penn St v Towson  (looking ahead to a second round match with #3 Pitt I presume)

BIG Ten sans Michigan moving on tonight.   Purdue did the reverse sweep thing to fend off Dayton to get to SW 16.

Minnesota sweeps Stanford, UW and N also sweep 2nd round matches.

Pitt takes out Penn St in 4 sets. 

6 make it to sweet sixteen.  About what I would expect.
