Didn't see that coming. I know Purdue has been nursing some kids and Newton struggled tonight but that was some inspired play by MSU.    No nights off in this league.   Pesky Iowa got swept but gave Nebraska fits tonight.     Some heavyweight matches coming up soon for the upper half of the league.

Man, that has to rank right between soccer and auto racing as a radio sport

I hadn't clicked this thread until now, and I'm extremely disappointed.  Not nearly enough photos.

Of course I'm a Homer but there's no doubt John Baylor is an excellent radio broadcaster of volleyball.   He's really good.  As with basketball there are dimensions of the game which are very hard to follow on radio as a listener but he's got skill.
Requires a very sharp understanding of the game.  I think he's been doing it now 28 years?   I suspect there aren't many doing who are any good.

Strangely I find the Indy 500 a worthy event for radio. It's a  Very high quality production.  Other racing on radio is at best background noise.  Never tried soccer.   Xm's golf coverage is good.

See, if someone dug up their bones in a  million years, they're not classifying them in the same species, are they?

lol, this made me look up the roster.  Look at the difference between 2015 heights and 2021, for Florida:
6'4, 6'1, 6'0, 5'10, 6'2, 5'6, 6'0, 6'2, 6'0, 6'1, 6'2, 5'6, 5'9, 5'5, 5'9
6'2, 6'1, 6'1, 6'4,  5'9, 6'4, 6'3, 6'3, 6'3, 6'0, 5'7, 6'3, 6'6

Going from one 6'3+ player to seven of them in a handful of years.  Evolution before our eyes!!!

That picture is probably a chick from AZ who was 6'8 and the Alabama girl is obviously a hobbit.
