Holtz didn't say anything any ND fan wouldn't say.  It's trumped-up BS bulletin board stuff.  An invented slight.  A nothing burger.

Epic collapse by Minnesota.  NW comes from 21 down to beat Minn in overtime.

Never had a doubt

Heh. I doubted. Glad the good guys pulled off the win. McCord had some mind numbing bad passes, but when the chips were down he got the job done.

that last drive McCord made four clutch, big time throws. You can’t teach guts, - extreme pressure in a hostile environment:

3rd and 10 - 23 yards to Egbuka
4th and 7 - 7 yards to Fleming
2nd and 10 - 19 yards to MHJ
3rd and 19 - 21 yards to Egbuka
All of these were high pressure throws, three of them were in tight windows. (Great catches by the receivers too) Ice water in the veins. He will be good.

How did Northwestern comeback and beat Minnesota? They were getting killed.

I didn't see that score until just now. I occasionally turned over to BTN, only to see Minnesota dominating. I can't imagine what happened.

Northwestern (2-2, 1-1 Big Ten) scored two touchdowns early in the fourth quarter to pull within seven. The Wildcats tied it in the closing seconds of regulation when Henning caught an 11-yard TD, and came away with their second win in three games after losing 12 in a row.
