It always Nebraska.  I dont get why they consistently get the best whistle in the conference.

Ive never had complaints about officiating against UM, OSU, or PSU.  But somehow the conference carries all the water for Nebraska

I didn't see the game and haven't watched any highlights yet, evey husker fan I know would disagree with this assessment
That was always PSU fans lament going back to the '90s,the Big was favoring their boys and had it out for them. They might be the biggest yodelers when it comes to this tripe that I've seen - at least in the BIG

Yes. Everytime the camera zoomed in on Whittingham yesterday afternoon, he looked 5 O’Clock Somewhere Else:

Careful.  They DO NOT want their coach to succeed.
I have to say, I expected to feel less conflicted with that win?

like, I honestly thought if they won at Penn State I would feel like they should go 8-4 and they possibly could go 9-3. And I don’t really.

Like the start of that game was atrocious. And I definitely think it’s cool when you rally, at times despite yourself, but I really thought if they pulled off that upset, I would feel a lot better than I do.

but looking forward, I’m just ready to enjoy the ride. It’s paradoxical, but I think winning this game actually creates more pressure for him to get a better record, not less. Which is not what I would’ve expected.

And I should add, a Saturday when the good guys are on top is always a good one. Especially when the other team has something to it.

Weddings are fine, unless they're really expensive.  It's the marriage part that I don't get.

You could just be together for the rest of your lives.  No need to bring the government into it.

I finally watched , the set of calls i scratched my head on are the catch reviews which both went in Nebraska favor.   I guess the ball can touch the ground but only if it isnt jostled?

Correct.  Unless the officials decide to call it the other way.  :57:

Week 4 Morning-After Stream of Consciousness

  • If the Texas Longhorns could get out of the Texas Longhorns' way, the Texas Longhorns might be unbeatable
  • LOLOL Oklahoma
  • Jeremiah Smith should probably have been flagged with an unsportsmanlike conduct for breaking that kid's ankles
  • LOLOL Ole Miss
  • RTDB at Florida means "Run The Damn Baugh"
  • LOLOL Michigan
  • Holy cow, Wisconsin, I didn't think you had it in you.  Last update I saw I figured Badgers were toast and went to bed not knowing otherwise.  Woke up this morning and saw the Badger brigade here talking about a W
  • LOLOL Aggie
  • Clanga's cowbells have to be the most annoying thing in all of cfb, surely
  • LOLOL Michigan, 'cuz it's worth repeating.  Can't believe I was lucky enough to have just happened to switch to that channel as the ball was about to snap for the last play.  Switching back to the UF/OM game, when the booth broke away for an update on the UM/Iowa ending, Sean McDonough said "....then it was determined the Iowa player was out of bounds, and Michigan wins."  You aren't supposed to say stuff like that, Sean, but, lolz, you said it.

Rewarding coupling, half of which is temporary, is the very definition of government overreach.
Not rewarding prudence.
Rewarding a leap of faith.

Brilliant.
