I almost hit the "Like" button but I like dogs too much to do that...

Even poor unfortunate dogs that are continued to be bred by assholes despite their defective breathing capacity...
UGA's lineage has got to be full of landmines.  I don't even want to research it.

The SEC is basically owning college basketball right now.....and none of us fans even care, lol.

I was pondering whether UGA would come out with a play action deep pass attempt on the first play.

Carson Beck is going into the draft, not surprisingly, after UCL surgery.  He'll hafta pay for his next Lambo.  Stockton is said to drive an ancient F150 with 300,000 miles on it, for now.

outside of the Rose Bowl, the ticket prices for each of these Quarterfinals is far below face value on secondary market.

Maybe have the first 2 rounds on home fields?  One thing that was consistent with all 1st round games, the home crowds showed UP!

I noted before that fans will be desiring to save money for the "next round" in such a playoff.  Why pay to travel for a round when you can do it for the finals?  The alternative is to pay and watch your team lose.

It's on TV. That's all that matters.

The Rose Bowl sells itself.

It's a factor, but consider some Dawg or Irish fan of modest means, probably with funds to attend one game.  Would this be it?

Not likely unless they live close to NO.

I like Freeman a lot, he seems to be an excellent coach but he is in the unenviable position of having to try to beat Kirby at Kirbyball with less talented players imo which means, with my track record,  Notre Dame runs for 400 yards and sends the Dawgs home early.

Historically the way to beat UGA requires an NFL qb throwing to NFL receivers like Stroud-Harrison, Young-Williamson or Burreaux-Chase. Notre Dame can't threaten the Dawgs outside like that so the game might be played in a phone booth.  Urban Meyers said flatly UGA wins because they have better players.

Stockton, the UGA backup qb is the great unknown. if he makes decisions as bad as the one which resulted in the pick against Texas it will be a long day for the Georgia Bulldogs. Also if he hits wr after wr just to watch them drop even more passes it will be hard to win. Even then though the Irish have to score and i don't know how they do that, especially in the 2nd half where the Dawgs have shown up and showed out.

My total fan-boi take is Dawgs 33-ND 6.
My realistic take is UGA 20-17.

Figured this would be about an 11 point spread with a healthy Beck.

With Stockton apparently it's 1.
