Subscription or donations?
« on: August 13, 2025, 11:36:28 PM »

clicky clicky... it's fairly self explanatory.

I'd like to see how a donation based approach will work before and hopefully instead of moving to a subscription based model.

Be nice to send out reminders in a year for anyone who sent $120.

Yep. I just threw in for a year, but I guarantee 100% that I won't remember this next August.

Some of us are huge posters; some of us are regular posters; some of us are very occasional posters. A subscription at $10 per month will drive many of us away. I pay double the annual subscription price for a photo website I am on, and I could cut it back from $40 per year to $20 per year, but I value the website enough to double pay.

I like to keep up with people here but have no inclination to pay $120 per year to do so. I would pay something, but not $120 per year.
