Obviously, I lean towards "fun to drive" small sporty cars with manuals, even if they are fairly slow.  I'm slow anyway.  I appreciate what the engineers have done with the 'Vette, it really is amazing, two core engines one flat plane high revving, one pushrod "old school" and large, still with fairly decent fuel economy.

I could never have dreamed up such a thing 20 years ago.

These on the other hand have an excellent sportscar reputation, and a dominant pedigree in rally racing.
