If they made a Dark Horse convertible or a GT350 convertible and it came in under 100K I suppose I'd go with that, but honestly the GT is all I'd ever really need.

The Big Plus with the GT for me personally is the availability of a manual. I know of course the Corvette would outperform the GT on a track, but that isn't really the "point" in my mind. Which would be more fun to drive on roads?

On the other hand, the Vette would be pretty fun with the top down. I could get the Z51 and the LT3 packages and the memory front end lift option.

the upcoming Vette Grand Sport might come just under $100K if you don't need the convertible feature - 409 cubes with all the Z51 stuff plus

yup, much more convenient to just push the button on the HTC - rapid-retracting hardtop that operates in 16 seconds at speeds up to 30mph - but it adds 77lbs to the coupe's weight

Would have to drive them first. I'm guessing I would end up with the Vette, but the convertible Mustang GT or a BMW M4 would both be in the running.
