I like 10K mile oil changes these days. Might have to change it every 3 years or so.

Not sure about the wife's Chevy. I guess I should read the manual.

Most modern cars have an oil change indicator of some sort.  If you use synthetic oil, 10,000 miles is very reasonable.

I don't know what the Chevy takes. The Benz is synthetic for sure. Speaking of the latter... I should drive it today. Been a minute.

My Caddies were about every 11 months.  They took an extra quart that added some cost to the change.  The GTI was about the same, also with 6 quarts.  The Corvette 6.2 may have 8 quarts, I don't know for sure.  The Hyundai is running about every 8 months.  The first four are free and then they are pricey at the dealer.

Shelby just took the Mustang Dark Horse and turned it into an 850-hp street-legal beast. The new Super Snake-R pairs a Whipple-supercharged V-8 with a six-speed manual, plus track-ready upgrades like coilover suspension, Borla exhaust, and carbon-fiber aero. Limited in number and starting at $224,995, it delivers raw muscle and rarity without going full GTD. Mustang fans, this might be the ultimate sweet spot between track weapon and daily thrill.

I've always been a never-Ford guy, but I'd drive that.

Gimme the 10-speed automatic though, thanks.

I'd go white here. Possibly yellow.

Red attracts heat and cops.

THAT car in any color attracts heat and cops.

The Mustang is about the only Ford I would really aspire to own.  They make some other cars that are probably OK.  I've mostly owned GM makes until lately.

I used to have that GM Mastercard I used all the time, saved some dough on that one.

If I'm spending >$200K on a car, it ain't gonna be a Mustang...

Well, sure, I'd think about spending $60K on a Mustang GT convertible though.  I'd go Porsche 911 at the higher price, not really caring that something else can beat me on a drag strip.
