^^^ Correct.

To take matters further, nobody really thinks much of Jaguar, period.

British cars were made to sit in the shop

My English mate over in the Palm Beaches loves his Range Rover.

He gets to drive a different vehicle on a bi-monthly basis, while his is at the dealer getting "fixed" again!

There is a reason he never keeps them past their warranty. He'd be out of a vehicle all the time unless he rented a "loaner".

Yeah, reliability and Engish cars aren't generally known to coincide.  About the only cars I'd be willing to buy and then have them sit in the shop half the time, are Italian.  :)

My best friend owns two Ducati motorcycles, because one of them is always in the shop!

I told her to keep looking.

I like Jaguars in general, a lot.

No desire to own one.

They make nice a decoration in a 24 car garage.

A buddy in Cincy has a 12 cylinder XKE, 1972 I think.   I drove it once, nice looking.

Must be English cars they're using in all those horror movies.  They never start when the victim is frantically trying to get away from the killer/monster.
