Yeah I think the established pecking orders from the 60s/70s, the hierarchies of coolness, have somewhat melted away over the years. Now, some folks just look at ANY muscle car or pony car from the era, and think they're pretty cool.
I think that's definitely true of my views. Back in the 80s when I first got into those 60s and 70s classics, I had some definite biases toward some cars, and against others.
Now, although Mustangs are still my favorites, I have a much deeper appreciation for all muscle/pony cars. I'd be pretty happy to drive around in any of them, honestly.
