Nobody could sit behind me, but I didn’t care.  It was my get to work car.

A few more years and the kids getting out of the house, and I won't have to worry about anyone sitting behind me either.

Yeah it's weird to think about my needs changing so much in the next few years.  When the kids are out of the house, I'll have no need for a large RV trailer.  We still plan to RV but we'd either go to a smaller trailer which would open up more options for the tow vehicle, or move to a motorhome style RV which eliminates the need for a tow vehicle at all.

Our boat is stored in a marina so I don't need a trailer for that either.

So for the first time in 30 years, it's possible or even likely I'll have no need for a truck or SUV at all.  

THEN what do I get...?

That is some luxury. What does something like that go for?

The Sprinter you can get for $100K, for a nice used model. I've seen them even lower.

Yup $100K for a used Aistream/Sprinter in good condition is pretty normal.

That particular one I linked is probably close to a million but I was also going for effect. ;)

There are ones in the $400K-$500K range (brand new) that are still pretty damn lux.
