Yup same here, the parents of my best friend growing up had one. I used to go on family ski vacations with them to New Mexico and Colorado, playing video games and watching TV or movies on VHS.  The back seat folded down into a bed so we'd lounge around on it whilst being driven around in style.

They still had it when we were in college, and one Spring Break we took it up to Pagosa Springs, CO to ski at Wolf Creek.  3 guys and 3 girls.  There were shenanigans, is all I can say.

Sort of an interesting hypothetical here, you have $200 K to spend on a vehicle, to be your daily driver, you can't buy a Yaris and pocket the difference ...

The daily driver part would put me into some sort of smaller SUV thing, comfortable with some performance, not some Audi screamer I think.  I'd be paying for gas so that is a consideration, and maintenance.  Macan GTS?  Cayenne? Or Lambo and do the Beck thing?

DMW has this Redline XM thing.  It's a bit large for my tastes.

You can get these a couple of years old gently used for $200K or less. It would make a fine daily for me, as long as I still had the pickup for towing.

I hope the 63 is better than the 550. We rented one on a recent travel to see if we liked it and I was really not a fan AT ALL. The technology side was great, but the driving side was less than ideal. We rented a wagoneer the following week in Naples and really enjoyed how that drove so much better. The inside had far less tech than the MB, but the driving experience was better and that's what matters to me most.. I don't need 5 screens in my face to drive a car.

Yeah, my dad had one of those. Big captain's chairs in the 2nd row. 

I got a ticket for squealing the tires in that thing. It was sporty enough for that! :57:

Tough... I don't want an SUV, but I don't want something so low-slung to the ground for a daily driver as some of the really sporty cars. As much as I agree with @utee94 and an Aston Martin would be amazing, I don't think I can get in and out of that thing every day. 

So I ended up with this...

I prefer the E over the S, but when it comes to AMG, the S is king.

S550 rides like a pillow.
