Yeah, the triple barrel carbs were apparently a NASCAR thing back when.  I never knew a passenger car ever had one.

Anyone know anything about Nissan trucks?  I haven't ever looked at them because honestly I think their full-size trucks are pretty ugly, but the 15yo son is now thinking about wanting the ability to haul his equipment around for his lawnmowing business and expanding it beyond our immediate neighborhood, and he's kind of liking this little Frontier.  I gotta admit, it seems pretty sporty...

We’ve known since last year that the 2025 Corvette ZR1 was going to be the official pace car for the 2025 Indianapolis 500, as well as the fact that NFL Hall of Famer Michael Strahan was going to be the official driver of the pace car. Fox Sports has taken over the broadcast rights for IndyCar in 2025 and they made the official announcement on Thanksgiving Day.

However, today was the day for the official reveal of the 2025 Corvette ZR1 Indy 500 Pace Car and it sure doesn’t disappoint. Like the official unveiling of this year’s Festival Corvettes and Silverados, the ZR1 is wearing the same Arctic White exterior with Emerald Green and Gold graphics, and a modified racing stripe that plays into the ZR1’s front hood design.

The ZR1 Pace Car is a split window coupe with body color vents separating the rear windows. It’s also shown with its visible carbon fiber wheels, as well as the carbon aero package that features a stripe on the large wing as well as yellow end plates with the Indy 500’s iconic wheel and wings logo. Safety lights have been integrated throughout the car and we can see them on top of the split rear windows”

Corvette went through quite a few real dog years back when.  I'd say the C5 started to be a decent sports car.  The C6 is pretty decent, if properly equipped.

The C8 ZR1 is just excess.
