i made that very request some time back... and it still stands.  like i said, much of the conversation here is resource gold for a writer, and a writer would benefit the site greatly.

This guy does a pretty good job on x's and o's for huskers.. He stopped midyear last year due to the obvious coaching changes, but his blogs are great at breaking down what UNL is doing.  I'd bet he starts up again this fall

well... i feel pretty dumb not thinking of this earlier...

I just watched Nick Baumgardner compete at the Olympics... he didn't do too bad!!! he's won several x games but never higher than 20th in the Olympics.  

my wife knows him and his family well- growing up neighbors.  

he's a B1G writer- for the detroit free press... i wonder if i could get him to contribute here?

cecil IS alabama sports journalism. easily the most connected and respected journalist in alabama.

travis reier from bamaonline.com
also a good read.

former bamaonline writer moved on to nfl.com chase goodbread is good too nfl.com

the Bama page will load @2200hours along with the Gators page (provided by @OrangeAfroMan 's suggestion)... the tribune will load in about three minutes with the ESPN feeds (top of every hour- i kicked FoxSports off that feed... they don't play nicely with idiots like me)... :)

nick baumgartner is NOT nick baumgardner... two different dudes... and my wife doesn't know BaumgarDner, the writer...
