USC already went down last night, and the Wazzus are thick in the race now.  I'm going down to southern Ohio for a sorghum festival and will spend the night with my folks.  Probably won't have much internet access for a while, but if I can't post just remember that Michigan sucks.

Nothing like kicking it off with a state car inspection and kids swimming lessons.

Last week at the markets was much better, but I'll take this Saturday's high of 65 over the 90 degree crap we had last weekend.

55 with a big East wind off The Lake this morning. The market beckons, but I already have a big ole proper keg o' chili waiting in the wings. Ground short ribs, cubed skirt steak and cubed NY strips were the meats of choice for this batch.

And of course, ESPN is out on the Direct TV feed this morning. Just happens to be the only channel that is not working.

Ugh. I guess I'll be smarter later, without those knuckleheads polluting my senses.

Headed to a wine tasting event at 1 PM today but will be back for the afternoon games.  My buddy who usually comes over for the games has a bunch of stuff going on with his wife, he's not real happy.  Happy wife ...

He's a hard core Ohio State fan but now also likes the Dawgs.

I'm VERY worried about our game today.  The result I think will point to whether these are the "same ol' Dawgs" or something major has changed in Athens (aside from getting a new IPF).

My favorite wine rep is doing the tasting so I felt I should go to that.  My wife is out of the country and I'm trying to figure out how the dishes get out of the dishwasher and up to the shelves.  I gave up trying to find the button that makes the bed and folds all the laundry.  I usually put dirty clothes in the hamper in the bathroom and they return folded and ironed to my closet, but that isn't happening for some reason.

My wife and I are building a home, and the digging starts Monday.   We went over there w the builder this morning to review.  Looking forward to it.

Gonna have a high of 84 degrees.  Brrrrrr, time to bust out my winter clothes. :)

FoxSports did another Iowa wave story. It again got dusty while I was watching. Bless that for all the things, not the least of which is reminding me I'm a sap.

Knocked out 6-plus miles in  morning after staying up to watch Washington State. Found a pretty spot to run too. Feeling good.

We've had like 9 straight days of 90deg with humidity to match in NE Ohio.Love the cooler fall temps blowing in from the north - fresh air, blue skies & white clouds.Autumn has arrived
