Taking in my second ever game at the ‘Shoe today. Took in a few too many beers last night, but did get introduced to one of the best BBQ places in town.

My hosts usual tailgates are not happening today, so might be a brunch sort of morning.
Where did you go?

Going to a pumpkin patch today with our godson. Said patch is a family farm owned/operated by an umpire friend of mine.

Tonight it's sweet potato soup and Detroit-style pizza for the Gopher game.
Damn The MoTown Pie sounds great and I like soup but never had that

I've never eaten this soup either. Not sure what to expect.

Sweet potato soup can be pretty good.  It's not my go to.  It tastes pretty much like liquified sweet potatoes with a lot of cream.

I like cabbage soup a lot, which is a pretty humble dish.

I also like cabbage soup. Probably my favorite soup after French onion.

Waking up behind Big Ten lines this morning, specifically Indianapolis. Probably not catching a lot of games today with my cousin’s wedding tying me up. My aunt gave me a couch to crash on, which led to getting woken by nieces/nephews at 6am so they could watch Pokemon. Nice to wake up to a autumn setting, with red, orange, and yellow trees, and enough fallen leaves to rake the lawns.

Interesting how much Michigan’s schedule was trashed this year, then I decide to look at Tennessee’s. Today they play UT Martin and they also have thrown in the MAC with Ball St and Akron, Akron arguably the worst team in the MAC.

Where is all the national media attention on their schedule? They’re great because they beat Bama?
