G'mornin' all.

Up in Barrington at the moment. Probably head out and watch a little football and then back here to see some friends and family.

I think we are bringing in pizzas tonight, which is fine, because we are in a Chicago suburb. A very safe one, of course.
Make sure you mix up one of those funky, cheap CHI-Town cocktails you had mentioned previously
Suburbia:Where they tear out the trees & then name streets after them.

Tito's on the rock with lemon twist or JW Red on the rocks?

Pretty funky, I know.

Changing the clocks is just plain dumb. Just leave it at DST and be done with it.

If there isn't going to be a time change, it will go back to standard time. You must like full daylight at 4:25 AM in June.

I like the leaf blower talk. The leaves at the RGWHQ are just starting to come down.

Gorgeous fall day here in the Twin Cities. High in the mid 40s and no wind. Hopefully the Gophers have something for the Fighting Berts today.

Cocktails, to me, seem to be for folks who don't like liquor.

I'd rather we stay with daylight savings - more light at the end of the day. EDT is better than CDT was - but where we lived was on the Eastern edge of Central. Now we're on the Western edge of Eastern. Daylight time please.

I like a good bloody or margarita, but that's kinda where it stops.

Gin and tonic is good too, when it's warm out. But that's kinda like saying "I only drink when I'm alone or with someone", right?

It's more like "I only drink on days that end with Y."

I think a cocktail has to have 3+ ingredients.

I like the smell of a gas mower and fresh cut grass.

Saying "cocktails are for people who don't like liquor" is not much different than saying "cornbread is for people who don't like corn on the cob."  It's silly.  It's entirely possible to like both.

I'll be able to watch about half of the Texas game, then I'm headed down to San Antonio as support crew for my daughter's high school marching band for the BOA-San Antonio super regional competition.  It's a big deal, but even more importantly they'll be competing for State on Monday/Tuesday down in San Antonio, as well.  They're the defending state champs so hoping for more gold medals this go-around.

Have a great day, and Hook 'em Horns!
