Jim has to beat his brother before he can win a SB
Given the Ravens' penchant for coming viscerally unglued at the worst possible times (see the 2nd half of last year's AFC Championship Game), that may not be as hard as you think.

Winning the AFC involves winning January games in both Kansas City and Buffalo. It can be done, but it ain't that easy.

I mean Kansas City is the scary team at the end, but they just keep escaping.  11-1, but 11th in point differential.  Substantially behind teams like the Commanders and Broncos.

I think the Lions, Eagles and Bills are the class of the league.  Lions defense is hilariously injured now, and I can't imagine Nick Sirianni winning a Super Bowl.  If this isn't the Bills year, it never will be.

Hell of a pick. Played a great game. Hopefully he can repeat it in the playoffs.
his pick, with any competent qb would have been a td.. Not only was the pass terrible, but it was incredibly late. That being said, it was a great read by Sawyer. That being said, he got destroyed on the touchdown run and missed the Mullings tackle that was one of the final nails in the coffin. Not sure how it can be termed a great game, when it was a great play and massive couple failures in key moments.

Lastly, everyone can defend Sawyer for defending their midfield or whatnot, but the dude is always the biggest shit talker before the game. There's plenty of video of Michigan taking the field and plenty of buckeyes, including the "captain" as close as they can get running their mouths. The more you run your mouth and tell the world your rival sucks, the more you look stupid by not letting the opposition celebrate after they did the part that actually mattered.

I think you're right, and if they faced off in the playoffs/superbowl I'd pick the Chiefs to beat each of them by 3-6 points. :)

Fair enough.  Point remains, I'll pick them to win a post-season game over those 3 teams outright, every time.

Agree 100%.

Sawyer made a great play on the INT but at the same time that was an atrocious throw by a god awful walk-on QB. Davis Warren is truly awful. Warren had his TE hilariously wide open all by himself with no Buckeye within 10 yards of him and not only did he throw that ball 3 seconds late he threw it low on a line with no air under it. I do give credit to Sawyer for reading and reacting and pulling off the blocker and snagging the INT and saving a TD, but man....Davis Warren just really fucking sucks.

Aside from that one massive play, Sawyer didn't impact the game much. Sawyer had 0 TFL's and 0 sacks. Sawyer got buried by Max Bredeson on Michigan's lone touchdown run and on the run which effectively won Michigan the game- Sawyer had Mullings dead to rights in the backfield and whiffed on the tackle.

Sawyer was basically a non-factor in that game like he has been in all 4 games vs Michigan. JTT & Sawyer probably the two most overhyped 5* DE's I can ever remember at Ohio State. Other than 5* DE Zach Harrison. All 3 of those guys were top 10 overall recruits in the nation- they were ranked as HS players in that Nick Bosa, Joey Bosa, Chase Young territory and none of them ever even remotely came close to living up to that. In 4 games vs Michigan JTT has 0 sacks. Had himself one whale of a game couple years ago vs Penn State though.

This is the part that should be most eye opening to people when talking about it. From a pure visual analysis, rather than going to the stats, Sawyer isn't remotely even close to those three. I hated playing against those three guys because they were absolutely dominant and the best of the best. And all three of those guys, were confident, leaders and celebratory guys, but celebrated their successful moments. Sawyer to me comes across the guy that does more of his celebrating and mouth running off the field or before the game. The other 3 were guys I would have loved to see in Maize and Blue. Sawyer is a guy I'm glad he never was. No respect for him, while tremendous respect for the other three, but in personality and talent.

actually- it was Ty Hamilton that whiffed on Mullings 27 yard run.  Sawyer was badly held.

Weirdly- there were no sacks in that game.
