I used to look on "Yelp" for ratings, then quickly realized nearly everything is a 4.  In some new town, maybe it helps a little.  I get more out of seeing a menu and pricing.
Yeah a 4.0 on Yelp is a pretty mediocre place, usually. Typically you can feel a lot better if it's 4.5 or up... 4.3 or so is probably about the cutoff between good and mediocre. And there need to be a decent number of reviews to even trust that.

Spiaggia

I always joked about how tiny the portions were at super high-end restaurants. Turns out, for tasting menus, it's a necessity.

Spiaggia dei Conigli

Lampedusa, Italy

Unbelievably blue waters and white sand set the scene at Spiaggia dei Conigli. It's a peaceful beach, perfect for relaxing, soaking up the sun, and swimming. There's lots of marine life to check out, and you might even spot some wildlife on the shore. Parking's free, and it's easy to get to via public transportation.

Those are so dumb.

So... I thought to look it up... It's the red pin.

This is "easy to get to via public transportation"???

I mean, I guess if you're already on the island of Lampedusa, maybe it's easy to get there. It's getting to Lampedusa that's the hard part :57:

Spiaggia literally translated means "beach".

And the restaurant was on North Michigan Avenue, pretty much in view of Oak Street Beach:

I don't recall the menu. They've been closed since 2020.
