My wife likes Fogo da Chao, which surprises me a bit, so we went Friday evening (again).  It gets pricey in a hurry and they have dropped a few items, and the choicer cuts never made it around.  The price is still the same, so they are cutting elsewhere.  I think it's "OK", maybe better, and if she likes it, I like it.  But .... I would enjoy other places more for the same coin.

I never noticed that soda before.  Good ole Coke for me.  And the random southerners who put peanuts in theirs.  I don't get it.

My dad bought some once.

None of us liked to drink it, but it was fun to shake them up and shoot them with the pellet gun.

Is it an off-brand soda?  If so, what's it emulating?

Dr. Thunder is the tallest midget in that industry, imo.

Yep, I don't need off-brand soda. I pretty much drink soda about 4 times a year. I'll do Coke, 7-Up (or Sprite in a pinch), or a good root beer.

This place does have some pretty good root beer...

It is emulating bubblegum. The pink kind, that comes with your baseball cards.

Big Red is a unique, saccharinely sweet, red-colored cream soda with a flavor profile often described as a mix of bubble gum, vanilla, orange, and lemon oils. Originally created in 1937 as "Sun Tang Red Cream Soda," it is a popular, distinctly flavored soda with a cult following in the Southern US, especially Texas.

My palate was unable to detect any of the flavors beyond bubblegum.
