do you know how much it costs to wet a line in Cali?

A California fishing license varies by type, but an Annual Resident Sport License costs around $64.54, while a Nonresident Annual costs about $174.14

Also note there are two confounding aspects that make this an especially expensive joint:

  • It's a "celebrity chef", Antonia Lofasa
  • It's in Venice, CA--a ritzy area near the ocean--so I'm sure the rents are insane

My wife and two of her close friends all have December birthdays, and this is what they wanted to do as a combined celebration...

So it's a bit of a special occasion worth going to the pricey joint.
