What's the creepiest critter commonly consumed in Cajun cuisine?

I feel like this is a dare.

The moment you come up with the creepiest critter you can possibly think of, some Cajun is gonna be...

...hold my beer. :57:

The oddest thing I've eaten was seiche.  My wife told me it was a "kind of fish" when I asked her.  Indeed it is.

I've had very good frog legs
I visited an Asian grocery for the first time a long time ago, and found some unique (to me) options throughout.  Grabbed a pack of frog legs with no idea what to really do with them.  Threw them straight onto the Foreman grill.  Awful, lol!!!  Season them?  Nah.  Fry 'em up?  Nope.

Learning experience, for sure.

Frog legs are child's play at the Asian market.

They sell cans of pickled crickets.

Oh, definitely.  I didn't go with the pig snout ends (nostrils) in the saran-wrapped styrofoam package.  Or the big jug of MSG.
