We walked over to a new place called Alici the other day for lunch, it claims to be an oyster bar. It was OK. I can't remember if I already reviewed it.
The restaurant business is brutal, small differences in margins are life and death. There are two small places near us that have almost zero business, they do some take out, rarely have diners inside. I'm guessing they are laundries. One is a burger place, we tried it once, it was OK. In decent weather the owner/operator dude is usually sitting outside on a picnic table looking at his phone, nobody inside. The other place is a Silverlake Ramen, named for the town near LA, it's a small chain, we like it pretty much. They might have one other table occupied when we go, usually for lunch.
