Can't say I've ever had uncooked mussels or clams, but raw oysters are delicious.

We never get that. We know people who do. Doesn't seem fun.

We'll be taking a lot of food home. We don't often eat after 5PM. We're going to "get out".

The only major food item I dislike is liver.  My mom would cook it back when and I'd have to stay out of the house.  My dad liked it, and he wouldn't eat much of anything else, beef, pork, chicken.  We never had spaghetti and I was 16 when I had my first pizza (out).  I was in college when I first tried Mexican.

Our favorite Thai place locally says it was the first Thai place in Atlanta, 1977.  Hard to believe.  When I was a kid, dining out usually meant the C&S cafeteria, and sometimes we'd go to the Catfish King or the Catfish Inn, which I liked a lot.  My mom would take me to the Sizzlin' for lunch on occasion.  I don't recall dining at a French place until grad school in CH.  I guess I'm making up for lost time.

I took my kids to a variety of places, including some fairly fancy ones, so they'd know how to act at a nice place.

I like chicken liver in various forms.

Anglerfish liver is one of the best things I ever put in my mouth.

What Is Ankimo And What Does It Taste Like?

I do love Fois Gras too.

My wife loves foie gras.  I can tolerate it, on a cracker, but I don't much like it, I let her have it all, same with caviar, which she likes, not so much the cheap fake stuff.

I can eat caviar, but I don't really like it, so I let her have it.  Paying $100 or more for a tiny portion of black fish eggs is not my thing.

I do enjoy snails, raw oysters, smoked salmon, and a few other "delicacies".
